Forums scheduled for April 5

Staff, parents, and community members are invited to attend an upcoming community forum on the redesign of Gresham High School.

Architects, project managers, and building leaders will present proposed key design features. Attendees will review the vision for the building, site location, and construction timelines.

The forums are the community’s opportunity to provide feedback on:

  • Building Design
  • Safety Features
  • Community Use Options
  • Auditorium/Fine and Performing Arts Features
  • Career Technical Programs

In November of 2016 voters in the Gresham-Barlow School District approved a school bond for $291 million.

School bond projects will increase student and staff safety, improve access to modern technology, and address chronic overcrowding through upgrades and updates made to schools and classrooms throughout the district.

At Gresham High School approximately 70% of the buildings will be replaced or modernized.

Individuals who need more information about the upcoming forums should email or call the district’s community engagement department at 503-261-4557.
